Brothers, When I look at our Membership drive this past weekend and I think about what we are offering I can’t help but remember when I was a child learning about my faith and what it means to be a Catholic. I studied the Baltimore Catechism and learned all those things I must avoid to live a good life. A lot less clear were those activities that you should engage in to demonstrate Our Lord’s love for us. One thing I am quite sure of is that Our Lord never intended for us to spend our time watching every football game and watching every episode of Game of Thrones. I believe he wanted us to engage in building our church and supporting those of us engaged in similar pursuits. That is what we are offering to our new brothers; those brothers who are bold enough to step forward and offer their services to help. The returns on that investment are enormous. Membership in the Knights of Columbus represents a great gift we are offering to those bold enough to accept the challenge. In Brotherhood. Jack Carlino, GK
